After a LONG flight over the Canada, the Arctic Ocean and Siberia, we arrived in Beijing at about 3pm Saturday local time (about 2am body time :-). After a ride from the airport to our hotel (walking distance to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, we're told) and a short walk to a Mc Donalds for a very quick dinner, we are all ready to try and get our first good sleep in over 24 hours. Tomorrow, we are scheduled for some sightseeing, so hopefully our bodies won't be so jet-lagged that they can't sleep.
